Just watch the Gungrave G.O.R.E trailer! No words necessary… but I got to put some words here to meet the article quota.
Gungrave was a game from developers Red Entertainment and SEGA with character designs by Yasuhiro Nightow of Trigun fame. It also had an anime series with 26 episodes which was initially released in the US by Geneon Entertainment, and later picked up by Funimation. As the name suggests, it is a game about guns… And you’ll be doing a lot of shooting with those guns.
The development of Gungrave G.O.R.E was apparently a bit troubled. The launch was even pushed back from 2019 to 2020, which it passed, and is now set for late 2022 or 2023 but officially it is just “Coming Soon”. Looking at the video however, one can see that it has been a great benefit to the game because it looks slick and over-the-top amazing! Some of the comments on YouTube even say that they are going to get the game, regardless of the reception or score.
If this type of mayhem is your cup of tea, you can wishlist it on Steam for PC, and reportedly will be available on PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One as well.
