Homeworld 3 finally reveals gameplay footage
The third installment of the cult-classic real-time strategy series, Homeworld, finally has gameplay footage. And boy does it look sweet!
During opening night for Gamescom 2022, developer Blackbird Interactive dropped this trailer which shows a sample mission overlaid with a narration of the action. Imagine what the space battles in the sci-fi series The Expanse looked like in an admiral’s battlescape, and that is pretty much what you get here. Personally, although it looks amazing and just what one would expect with a space battle strategy game, I think it would be a bit too disorienting for me to play. But I could watch this all day.
Fans of the series can be expected to dive into it sometime in the “first half” of 2023 on PC.
