First-Look scenes from HBOMax's The Last of Us series
HBOMax recently released a trailer showcasing their upcoming shows, but hiding in it was a few official first-look scenes of the highly anticipated The Last of Us Live-Action TV adaptation. It shows actor Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones, Disney’s The Mandalorian, Narcos) as Joel with Bella Ramsey (also from Game of Thrones) as Ellie.
As you know, HBOMax’s The Last of Us is a for-screen adaptation of the classic videogame of the same name. Although videogame-to-film adaptations tend to get a bad rep, we’re quite optimistic that this series is in good hands.
The Last of Us will stream next year, 2023, on HBOMax.
