Will there be a DOTA: Dragon’s Blood season 4?
Considering how the 3rd season, or Book 3, was full of plot-tie-ups and endings, I thought that it was basically the last season of the series. However, it seems that there is a sliver of hope that there will be a Book 4 of this Netflix animated series.
Ashley Edward Miller, an executive producer and writer for the series, posted an interesting reply to a fan on Twitter.

The show is based on the MOBA game DOTA 2 by Valve (you know, the guys who own Steam and made games like Half-Life, Portal, and Team Fortress 2). I haven’t played it, but it is apparently steeped in lore. How much of that was pulled into the show, I have no idea. But even with the story that was spun by the animated series, there does seem to be a lot to pull from – both the characters and the world itself.
Although, personally, I don’t need (“need” – as if we would die without these shows…) another season due to the amount of closure Book 3 brought, I would not be opposed to a Book 4. One fear though is that they try to stretch material to fit, which leaves the show with less substance per episode. But I’m sure they’ll figure it out.
